(Student) Academy Award Nomination!

When it rains, it pours... Good rain! We just found out that Civil Indigent is one of the regional winners for the 38th Annual Student Academy Awards! Now what does this mean? I'm not entirely sure myself. But here's what we know: The film will now compete against all of the winners from our region and other regions. We should find out in a few weeks if Civil Indigent is a national winner!

Until then, all of the regional (region II, that is) winners will be screening at the Gene Siskel Film Center tomorrow night! Our fingers are crossed as we move into the next round of judging, but we're thrilled to have made it this far. Screening at the Gene Siskel Center is truly an honor. Wish we could be in Chi-town to see it!

Siskel Film Center screening:
Thursday April 28th, 6:30pm
Free and open to the public!

Civil Indigent Goes West!

Well, we took home the second place prize at the Student Em--er, I mean, College Television Awards! A fantastic experience. Met and mingled with other young filmmakers and journalists. Everyone was very interested to hear about Civil Indigent and the meal limit controversy, and the trailer absolutely killed at the awards ceremony! What can we say? The people love Pat!
